Not many people really understand what it means to be an MLM Independent Business Owner. Everyone gets the MLM opportunity part but what so often gets missed by the masses is the need to be an actual business owner.

It’s as if there is some kind of mental block keeping people from realizing that MLM is not a 9 to 5 job. Although MLM seems to offer a “quick and easy” way to instantly become wealthy, unfortunately this simply is not the case.



Like any other business it will take time and effort. The good news is MLM truly does offer the opportunity to achieve true financial abundance.

I am constantly asked to share my secrets of mlm success. I am asked, what is the difference between the massively successful and those who just scrape by? The only difference is in their relationship with time and money. That's it. It's that simple.

Imagine this for a moment...

Imagine Donald Trump getting paid by the hour! It would never happen. Do you honestly think MLM abundance is achieved by trading time for dollars?

Absolutely not!

Those involved with MLM are most often in the transition between the old 9 to 5 paradigm and the abundance mindset needed to truly achieve MLM success. They know the old way will never work but they haven’t fully embraced the new either.

Its true most of us can’t just wake up tomorrow and have hundreds of employees working under us to build our wealth like Donald Trump has. We can’t just invest a few hundred thousand dollars to flip an investment in three months.

But what we as Independent Business Owners can do is invest time and energy into our businesses in order to reap the rewards… come harvest time.

This is one of the main secrets of mlm success. Let me explain.

When a rich person goes to work they work intelligently, not necessarily harder but smarter. They "leverage" both their time and money, to create more of both in the long run.

Intuitively we understand that MLM Success is not the result of trading time for dollars. However it is not an easy get rich quick scheme either. You absolutely must be committed to building a strong long term business.

Having a strong business plan to see success requires a long-term vision. It is common knowledge that ANY business does not usually make a profit in its first year. MLM is no different.

One reason so many fail in this industry is because they have unreasonable expectations in regards to the amount of time it will take to succeed.

In other words they simply give up too early!

Another reason many fail was alluded to above. They have a time is money mentality. They expect for every hour they work on their business they should see some kind of return on their investment by the end of the day, week, month or even year.

Beware of this type of thinking. In fact... one needs to avoid looking to discover the "secrets of mlm" as this is exactly the mentality that will keep you from success.

MLM Abundance is not achieved through a time is money get rich quick mentality. (at least not initially) Taking a true entrepreneurial small business owner mindset one realizes that…

It will take more than 30 days, 60 days, 6 months or a year to build a successful business.

The "secrets of mlm" leaders are hard work, perseverance, determination and solid internet business knowledge. Its about working smart.

But working smart means you will also have to find ways of creating leverage. Yes eventually you will want to have a team of down-line distributors working “for” you to create residual income. But how do you plan to get there?

You need to build a business and the only employee you have right now is yourself. Because there's only so much time in the day, there's only so much retailing and prospecting you can do...You have NO "leverage."

You are in a TIME EQUALS NO MONEY situation.

The answer is simple. Automation.

If there are any secrets of mlm success this would be one of them. Using the Internet and related technology strategically you can build a business that runs itself on autopilot. The internet can become a virtual employee.

Imagine having a tireless worker marketing and selling product, prospecting, affiliate marketing and so on for you day and night.

Contrary to popular MLM “wisdom” carbon copy business in a box systems are NOT the answer. DIFFERENTIATION not duplication is the true source of MLM abundance.

Everyone has already seen what is out there. YOU need to become the next big thing by building your own unique presence on the web.

Like a programmer writing code it takes time and effort up front to build your business but once your “code” is written (sales copy, lead capture pages, promotional material etc…) it then begins to work for you. Leverage!

This is the secret competitive advantage to seeing MLM success....Creating "leverage" is the secret of the wealthy but you don’t need to already BE WEALTHY to take advantage of it!

By getting involved with MLM you have already taken the first step towards wealth. You probably have already demonstrated your commitment to this process by investing a ton of time and effort into making it work!
