Robert explains that true financial independence is a result of having control over ones financial position and one of the best ways of doing this is through owning your own business.

“…if you are an employee, you have little control over how much you earn, if you get the promotion, if you receive a raise, when you go on vacation, and sometimes even when you eat lunch.”

Ninja MLM Motivation Note: This is exactly why I got involved with MLM myself. I remember my days in the corporate world and I remember feeling so frustrated. I was accountable to save the company I worked for half a million dollars annually through the projects I managed and yet I only got paid a fraction of that. Being a “data geek” I could quantify my worth to the organization and I knew my time was better spent building my financial portfolio versus theirs.

Robert goes on to explain, “One of the reasons so many feel insecure today is because school never taught them about the importance of control in their lives…they have very little control over their jobs, their investments and their taxes.”

Learning to take control

Robert also advises that we leverage the technological tools to access the global market through the internet. He then goes on to reemphasize his recommendation from the previous chapter of MLM and its value to the beginner entrepreneur. He is adamant that good MLM training and finding a good mentor is important to your success.

Donald adds that not everyone should be a business owner. If you do not have the motivation or desire you are setting yourself up for failure. “you have to be good at what you are doing, and…you have to have the courage to take the leap and go for it yourself.”

“Most business owners will work many more hours than their employees, but I’ve never heard an entrepreneur say they’d rather be working for someone else! Ever!”
