Be of Service
This is easy! Simply provide the information people are looking for. This is what the internet is designed for. The single most important thing to have in your Network Marketing prospecting efforts is your own website devoted to providing high quality information to your target audience. Your website will serve as your primary prospecting tool.
When someone pulls up a major search engine and types a keyword relating to your business you want to be in front of that person with the answers they are looking for. There are two primary ways of doing this.
You can create an advertising campaign with an offer such as a free report and pay for each person to be directed to a lead capture page and then work to convert them through e-mail or you can create your own website that is so valuable to your potential client that the search engines direct them to you. Your website will actually attract and deliver prospects to you for free. Seriously keep your eyes open for this. This is your competition. One pitch after another. The last thing you want to do is throw another pitch out there unless the person is interested in hearing it. It is difficult not to do. You have so much passion for your MLM and you see so much opportunity for yourself and others. It is easy to get excited and want to share.
But don’t… You are only looking for people who are going to succeed. Even if a pitch were to hook someone into a purchase if they are not prepared for what is required of them then they won’t succeed and either will you.
Your MLM prospect is actually the person looking to start their own business. This is not someone easily seduced by marketing anyway. Your prospect is someone willing to do the work necessary to succeed once they make the choice to get involved.
This is actually good news because the internet is the perfect vehicle to accomplish this goal. I think of my website as my staff. It asks the questions, provides the answers and works for me. When someone finally reaches me then I already know this is someone I want to work with. I get excited because this is an interested educated individual, who already knows what I have to offer, looking to succeed as an independent business owner.
