Your success as a Sponsor will be greatly influenced by your ability to help your down-line to succeed. Developing your Multi-level marketing success coaching skills is a must. Of course if you have not established a down-line yet you may be highly focused on your network marketing prospecting efforts but you need to build the skills to support your down-line regardless. This is why you need to focus some thought to developing yourself as a leader.
Like a boat drifting in the sea you will never get anywhere without establishing your direction first. Leaders know where they are, where they want to be and have a plan to get there. Once created your job will be to communicate this vision in such a way that inspires others to action.
Leaders are forward thinking. They imagine the possibilities that can be had and they make plans to accomplish them. This is an organic process as you will constantly need to adjust your strategy as you obtain more and more information. The good news is you do not have to know anything at all about your objective to begin this journey. You simply have to choose your destination and begin creating your vision. It is an ongoing process. Do you want to know how close you are to success? How detailed is your vision of what it will look like.
Develop a Vision of Multi Level Marketing Leadership and Begin Taking Steps to Make it Happen The process is actually quite simple and natural. Paint a picture of your objective in your mind’s eye. This picture should be as detailed as you can make it. Include all of your senses. What does it look like? What does it feel like? Where are you? What sounds do you hear? Etc… At first your vision will be very vague and you will not have any idea on how to make it happen. You may have an objective to make six figures for example but don’t really know what that lifestyle looks like or how to get there. When you find MLM you have the beginnings of a vision on how to get there but you usually don’t see immediate success. So you learn more are create better plans. You start seeing what your future office will look like, what equipment you want to have, what kind of desk and office chair etc… Through your various communications share your vision with others so they can benefit by forming their vision more clearly as well. This is important in both your prospecting and coaching efforts. People are looking for leaders they can learn from and by sharing your vision you will rally like-minded individuals to join you in your mission. Once in your down-line continually sharing your passion will keep them motivated. What does your vision of Multi Level Marketing leadership look like? How many down-line distributors do you have? What does your interaction with them look like? How often do you meet? Where are you? How does the conversation go? What do you feel like? The more clear and detailed the vision the clearer the steps to get there becomes. Then it is simply a matter of taking the steps. With a clear vision of what you want and the plan to get there you are ready to achieve the goals you have set for yourself. You cannot help another to succeed unless you have first established your vision and determined your path. Leaders are forward thinking and headed in the direction of their dreams. They are confident and communicate their vision with enthusiasm to others. Leaders are great followers that model the behaviors of others who are successful and therefore become successful themselves. They saturate their minds with positive thoughts of success. Multi Level Marketing Leadership Values What makes you unique in the masses of potential sponsors out there? For one… you want to have a viable plan to succeed right? But you didn’t just get into MLM to succeed for yourself. This is where you must make the choice on whether you are simply looking to succeed or you want to succeed in MLM. For me MLM is a noble pursuit. I am proud to be involved with MLM and being one of the few multi level marketing leadership coaches in the industry. I proudly announce my support and admiration for it with absolutely no apologies. Yes…I know that there are misconceptions about MLM in many people’s minds mistaking it for a pyramid scheme. Yes…I know that many struggling individuals choose to use unethical tactics out of desperation that tarnishes the reputation of MLM even further. Yes…I know that there are multi-million dollar companies using marketing tactics to seduce people into buying hope in the form of solutions to their MLM struggles. But this does not reflect on MLM or on me. I, as you probably do, recognize the amazing potential MLM has to do good in the lives of the average individual. I also firmly believe in myself and the way I do business as I have a clear understanding of my values and I live by them. As an MLM consultant you too can feel the pride of being a successful MLM business owner if you base your entire business on your personal value system. Just to clarify…you can see financial “success” by getting involved with selling dreams and hope, using psychological principles to hook people into purchasing, preying on individuals in need etc… but this is NOT MLM Success. Multi Level Marketing Leadership, as defined by me, is about successfully accomplishing the real vision of living your life more fully, experiencing more freedom, providing for your family the way they deserve through retailing your MLM products and recruiting others to do the same…by retailing quality products that truly benefit your customers and by teaching your down-line to see success doing the same. This is how I define the paradigm of Multi Level Marketing leadership. Your values are your own. If you can accomplish the above without compromising your personal values then that is success. For me this isn’t simply a “nice to do” but a necessity. This is a requirement to be successful. You are not going to get anyone to join you in your opportunity if you are not an individual that can be trusted. When someone decides to join you that is a vote of confidence in you. It is a privilege. They are choosing you as a business partner. Would you get involved with an unethical business partner? If someone were to steal your e-mail address off of craigslist and then send you a spam e-mil pitch what does that say about them? Taking the time to flush out your values and document them and then make sure every decision you make is in line with them makes business sense. MLM success starts with becoming the embodiment of what it means to be a great leader. Combine your vision with your personal values and a vibrant picture of your heart’s desire and real objectives will emerge. As you research ways to achieve that vision you will be able to easily discard the garbage that is out there. When you find a plan that is real and in line with what you want out of your life you will not only adopt it as your own but it will be your own as you execute it. As an MLM consultant you will share your unique vision, values and plan with others and see the success you are looking for.
