The evil objective is actually quite simple. Establish trust. Leadership must find ways of establishing trust between them and their constituents. Whether it is a prospect or a down-line distributor it will be impossible to form a positive working relationship without it.

• Be trustworthy: I know…I would never have thought of it either but it actually works. Hold yourself to the highest ethical standards and people actually respond to that.
• Give it then Get it: By first trusting and believing in your down-line you will receive it from them. This is what leaders do…they go first.
• Return What is Given: Never forget a favor. When someone chooses to do business with you in any way it is a privilege. Show your gratitude by ensuring you find ways of thanking them by returning the favor.

By establishing a reciprocal relationship you can actually get people to keep giving you stuff. All you have to do is keep giving them stuff in return. Truly evil.

Seriously though establishing trust via electronic mediums is a bit more difficult than in face-to-face interaction. Obviously everyone uses multiple personas in life. The way they are in the office is usually far different than at the club. You want to present a professional persona via the internet as well. However this should be balanced by being genuine.

If you naturally are prone to using profanity I am not advocating that you pepper your marketing efforts with colorful adjectives. However you want to represent who you are. If people can get a sense of who you are and that person is someone they can believe in then you have taken an important first step towards establishing trust.

You do not need to be perfect. It is far better to be real. No one is born perfect and it is hardly inspiring to try to follow someone who is not like us. Be the first to share your mistakes in an effort to help them avoid making the same ones. Honestly share your struggles and how you overcame them. Share the sources of your information so they can go and benefit from them as well. In this way you present yourself as you truly are. Just someone who has seen failure and success.

This MLM Strategy is hardly about having the most high tech professionally published million dollar website supported by hundreds of the top internet and marketing gurus. They are in the business of internet marketing. They are in the business of education. Sometimes they are even professional organizations representing themselves as individual MLM sponsors. (An actual evil strategy in my book)

You are an independent business owner and MLM distributor looking to recruit others to do the same. This is the niche that just isn’t being filled right now. To be successful in MLM makes you a “leader” by definition in this industry. But ask them how did they get there and you will find out their secret.



The leaders in your particular MLM got there by using their contacts. They simply do not have an MLM strategy YOU can use to succeed. They are marketers, business professionals, sales people etc...who have masses of contacts from their professions to use to build their MLM business. They contact everyone they already know. They use these relationships to sign-up masses of distributors in a short period of time. They win all the awards on the “fast-track” etc…

But what about their down-lines? Do they see the massive success they have? Not if they don’t already have thousands of contacts.

So How do you succeed in MLM if you are not already a salesperson? How do you succeed if you do not have contacts? If you don’t want to hold parties with friends and family?

My definition of MLM leadership is being able to recruit others and helping them achieve success as well. Regardless of previous work experience, education level, background, personality type etc… If you can take someone from flat broke (as I started out) and help them develop into a successful MLM business owner then you are a true leader.
