MLM Review: The Good, The Bad & The Horribly Frightening

Before you read this page, I have to warn you that it will make some in this industry upset but between you and me…I really don’t care. For the longest time I tried to ignore the facts. Let’s face it, MLM has a less than stellar reputation. And you know what… It’s no wonder!!! For one, you have down-right scams presenting themselves as legitimate MLM opportunities. Secondly you have an inundation of amateur unethical individuals in this industry that use all kinds of annoying and even illegal methods to try to make a dollar. (i.e. spammers) But what really bothers me is the big business MLM’s that look so very attractive but aren’t really designed with their distributors best interest at heart. They are designed to make money off of YOU not off of your success. Now don’t get me wrong… I adore MLM (the business model) and believe it to be one of the few real opportunities out there that offers the potential to better your life regardless of your background or current financial position. I am a fan and wholeheartedly endorse my MLM opportunity as an oasis in the desert landscape of phantom mirage “opportunities.” But not every opportunity is created equal. Before submitting a MLM review please remember that just because you may not have seen success with an opportunity does not necessarily mean it wasn’t legitimate. So please submit a non-emotional critique backed by a logical argument. I encourage you to include insider information the general public would not have access to based on an opportunities marketing material. With the current economic situation being what it is it is even more imperative that we take responsibility for our own personal financial condition. So let’s help our entrepreneurs avoid getting involved with the wrong opportunity. Submit a MLM Review: Thumbs Up or Thumbs Down?
Have Feedback About An MLM Opportunity?
Do you have a success or horror story? Share it!
Please remember that most fail to achieve MLM success even with a legitimate opportunity. So if submitting a negative report please be cognizant of this fact and provide the exact business reasons you feel the opportunity let you down. Here are a couple helpful questions you may want to answer to start your MLM review, - Where there any hidden fees you were not aware of when enrolling?
- Was the product exactly what you had thought it was?
- Do you have to be a customer to be a distributor?
- Why or why don’t you fell this opportunity lived up to its promises?
Please do not use the specific name of any distributor you had negative experience with as an MLM cannot be held accountable for the failings of each individual associated to it. For example…if an MLM opportunity claims (via marketing material produced by them) that following specific steps is “all you need to do” and it turns out those steps do not deliver this is a valid grievance. However if an individual distributor were to inform you of this (either in person or through marketing material developed by them) then the ownership is on them.
