It is important that your MLM article marketing work in conjunction with your primary website as these are your two fundamental means of communication with your prospective customers and prospects.

However your website is your business and the search engines deliver your customers therefore your article marketing is ultimately about increasing your credibility with them.

Once the core of your website is built your MLM article marketing serves two main purposes,

• Pre-sells your reader and links them to your home site.
• Builds your credibility with search engines by establishing incoming links. (aka backlinks)

Many mistakenly link directly to their prepackaged MLM website or MLM affiliate programs. This simply isn’t effective.

For one you simply cannot generate enough traffic to any site using article marketing to see any level of MLM success. Yes it’s nice to generate a few visitors but it simply isn’t going to deliver the consistent volume you need to generate long-term profits.

Secondly it is too early especially if your goal is to build your MLM down-line. An article linked to a business opportunity pitch is not going to achieve any results.

This is the purpose of your website. To introduce your product or business opportunity, answer any questions, show your prospect how to succeed once involved and so on. Building a website to prospect on autopilot is the only cost effective way for a small business owner to reach the volume of people necessary to see success.

Which is the real reason for your MLM article marketing in the first place. Every article you submit to the various article directories establishes a permanent link to your site. Over time this increases your reputation with the search engines who then deliver free targeted traffic to your website.

As mentioned before jumping into MLM article marketing your main objective is to build the core of your business. Build a website that delivers quality content to its visitors and your halfway there.

For me the pride of ownership I feel building it myself makes the time and effort worth it. Of course when I started I didn’t have the money to invest in having someone else do it for me but we will say I did it myself for the “sense of accomplishment.”

Either way…once the core of your business is built…

If you get in the habit of building your business and doing MLM article marketing for about an hour a day, you'll start seeing results. You then find yourself doing more than an hour a few times a week and you begin seeing your traffic grow more and more consistently.
