Most of the time you will be able to do this. As your relationship with your client grows your MLM coach sessions will become more and more productive. Soon you will be sharing tons of stuff freely and they may even start giving you advice. That is when it is fun.

However if you have not had the time to build rapport and you identify a SENSITIVE issue that really needs to be addressed it can sometimes be difficult to proceed. You may even be tempted to ignore it but this truly would be a disservice to your client.

They are looking to you for support and if sharing feedback that if not followed will negatively influence their level of success it is your job to provide it to them. That is the professional thing to do.

For example, if English is your client’s second language and their writing clearly projects this in a negative way this can be a very difficult conversation to have. However your clients MLM success is contingent upon their ability to communicate effectively using this medium so it cannot be overlooked.

Leading Questions for Self Discovery

You cannot teach someone to be enlightened. Enlightenment is a state of consciousness also know as self-realization. To be enlightened one must realize the truth on their own. A guru facilitates this realization by providing the quickest path to their goal but the disciple must walk it alone.

Enlightenment dawns upon an individual.

In the same way you can facilitate your client’s discovery of their issue and often the solution as well.

In this way you turn the tables so the client feels ownership of the discovery and it therefore takes the pressure off of you. You are looking for the “ah-ha” moment when it dawns on them what the answer is.

You accomplish this by asking them questions they already know the answer to while in the context of the topic they need help with. Sounds complicated but it is not…

First set your destination in mind. This is the feedback you wish to give. Then ask leading questions that guide your client to the destination. For example let’s say you do not know what four plus four equals. Instead of simply telling you it equals eight I can guide you to the discovery yourself.

• With one hand hold up four fingers?
• Now hold up four more fingers?
• Look at your fingers and tell me how many fingers you are now holding up?

What does this have anything to do with marketing mlm training and coaching? Okay so back to our English example…what if you asked,

• Q-So English is your second language? A-Yeah I only began speaking it three years ago.
• Q- Wow. That is amazing. Where did you learn to write English? A-I taught myself. I know I have trouble with some stuff. I was wondering if you could help me with that.
• A- I can’t believe you did such a good job teaching yourself. I have heard great things about this language course. Maybe I can find the site and send it to you.

Genuinely acknowledge what is positive and look for success even in challenges. Instead of focusing on what should be done differently focus on opportunities to get even better. In the example above it is clear that a negative approach is uncomfortable for both parties.

But by focusing on how impressive it is that they can speak and write in a second language in only three years you set them up for MLM success. If they did that all on their own then with the right help they can get even beter. Instill confidence by focusing on success and your clients will do whatever it takes to succeed and they will succeed.

Success in marketing mlm training and as a MLM Coach is a step by step process. It does not take any knowledge that cannot be attained. It doesn’t take any special personality or talent. There is no secret to it. Like anything else it requires a solid plan and action. Any obstacle can be overcome. Any skill can be learned.

Coaching your down-line seems at first to be a challenging undertaking but you will soon find that once the techniques have sunken into your subconscious this will be your natural communication style. That really is what marketing mlm training is all about…it is simply communication.
